Hello! My name is Luigi, I'm 37 and I live in Rome, Italy, with my dog Totò.
After working for many years in both industry and the public sector, I’m now a PhD student in sociology. I decided to return to university to pursue my strong interest in studying society. Currently, my research focuses on mainstream and underground drag representations in relation to contemporary capitalism.
I also have (obviously!) a passion for collecting coins and banknotes from around the world and/or from the past, especially those no longer in circulation.
Since I live in a country that uses the euro, I’d prefer not to receive euro banknotes. But if you’re from the Eurozone, maybe you have some extra notes from a past trip abroad or even old pre-euro currency you’d be happy to send?
If not, no worries — I’m happy to receive whatever you feel like sharing. That’s the spirit of the Papermoney Club!
